Jack, Co-Founder of Bridge First Insurance, wasn’t always an insurance expert. He started working at Red Lobster in Fairfax, VA when he was 14 years old and worked there until he graduated from Ohio University in 2010. He spent 3 years at Liberty Mutual mastering insurance and becoming one of the top producing agents in the DMV. With the help of Dave, Jack took the leap of faith to launch Bridge First Insurance in 2013. He’s passionate about systems, numbers, business development, and improving the company every day, all in pursuit of creating the absolute best client experience. He loves talking to and getting to know his clients. When he’s not diving deep into a potential client’s policy, he is singing Disney songs with baby Jack, out brunching, getting splats at Orange Theory or golfing!

Dave, Co-Founder of Bridge First Insurance, comes from an entrepreneurial background and always knew that one day he would own his own business. His personality, aligned with his passion for helping people and his commitment to providing a service to his community, made the insurance industry a natural fit. His days as a pitcher at Virginia Tech taught him how to handle high-pressure situations, like when he squared off with big leaguers like Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and the rest of the Yankee team in a charity game for VT. His insurance career started with 8 months of intensive commercial insurance training in Owatonna, Minnesota. He continued his career with a move to a large insurance corporation where he met Jack Cordes. Together they formed Bridge First Insurance in 2013 with the idea of working with multiple insurance providers to provide competitive quotes, quality advice, and personalized service for auto, home, life, and business insurance in DC, MD, and VA. When Dave is away from the office he is an active member of BNI and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, and he enjoys traveling the world, cheering on Baltimore teams, playing golf, cycling at his wife Caitlin’s classes, or watching The Bachelor.

Alex made his way to Bridge First Insurance after a career serving our country in the Navy. After learning the ropes at Allstate Insurance, Alex joined his friends Jack and Dave as Bridge First Insurance’s first hire. Every day, Alex brings an elite level of discipline, motivation, and dedication to serve his clients, so it’s no surprise that he is consistently breaking Bridge First Insurance records. Our clients love Alex because of how responsive and compassionate he is. When he’s not maximizing discount opportunities for Bridge First clients, you can find him networking at a happy hour, golfing, eating at a Brazilian steak house, hanging on the beach, or visiting friends and family in New Jersey.

Wade is a kind soul whose authenticity and compassion bring a smile to the face of all those he encounters. It’s incredibly helpful when helping a client who just had an accident, is having an issue at their home, or just has questions about billing or their policy in general. Everyone at the agency jokes that people come to us for their agent and stay for Wade, but it’s not far from the truth! When Wade’s not touching base with our old and new clients, he enjoys fast cars, spending time with his grandfather, reading up on stock picks, and spray painting a new masterpiece.

Anna, started her insurance career in auto claims which gives her a unique perspective and ability to serve her clients. After returning from a church mission to the Philippines, she landed a job with Progressive and had many different roles within the company. She married and moved to Germany with her husband who serves in the United States Air Force. Upon her return, she transitioned to a role as a sales agent at an independent insurance agency based out of Florida where it takes a lot of technical insurance skills and knowledge to be successful. She loves her Polynesian heritage and enjoys teaching the dances and culture. She loves to read, create new memories with her family and serve her community wherever she can. Her greatest accomplishment today is being a mom to her young son, Antonio.

John has known Jack and Dave since the start of their insurance career. In fact, John was an established “Legend,” in the insurance game. Literally, that’s what the company called the top veteran producers. He brings a career of insurance experience and unparalleled expertise to the Bridge First Insurance team. John is passionate about photography and has been featured in several galleries for his photos. He dedicates a lot of time and effort to supporting the American Diabetes Association and raising funds for the cause. He loves getting to know our clients and breaking insurance lingo down into plain English.

Patrick is a grinder! No one works harder! He runs a squeaky clean and organized operation…. It might be because before he was an insurance agent he ran a soap production business. Now, he passionate about helping business owners get the best coverage and pricing for their insurance. As a previous business owner, he brings a unique perspective that resonates with potential clients. PS – he helps plenty of individuals with their insurance as well. Patrick’s main objective is providing better customer service than the competition and helps the whole team elevate their game. When he’s not combing through declarations pages looking for coverage gaps and solutions he enjoys riding his motorcycle, watching futbol, or spending time with family and friends.
